 It's good to see an Ace with a good DD coil. It's almost a 250. About the only other difference, is that there is at least a second iron notch. Apart from that, it's a 250 at a slightly higher frequency and almost twice as expensive.Mmm.

 Yes, it's compatible with the other Aces. It has 4 iron notches and only 8 other notches. Not so good for coin hunting. One of the Kelleyco Managers made a couple of posts about it over on the Garrett Findmall site. that might give you a bit more info.

 I heard a bit more about it on findmall. Aparently, the audio is supposed to by a bit better. (don't know how.) Personally; I'll stick with the Ace. I much prefer it's notches.

Garrett are saying it will go deeper.
Any improvement in tones would not be hard and very welcome
Personally, I'll wait 'n see and maybe buy the coil for my 250.
250's can already punch fairly deep in non mineralised soil.
If it is way better than I will consider an upgrade
but I only my Garrett now for playground equipment hunts (in which it excels at) so dont know if its warranted.
I would have liked adjustable GB on their new machine.
But I suppose for $300US that is not possible.

My ACE 350 is on the way from the US.  FYI gave Kellyco the flick and went with Texas Premium Detectors. If you spend a certain amount, they give you free postage, so I got a Pro-pointer and a couple of pieces as well - free postage. Can't be bad!
