Compact Tesoro Compadre...
« on: August 21, 2010, 11:24 »
I saw a post regarding a bloke in the States who wanted a compact detector for detecting under houses, baseball bleachers etc.
He couldn't buy one, so he modified his Compadre... Pretty good huh !

Yeah thanks Mick, Moles aren't always just little dime diggers eh!
I came up with the handle Mole after I had posted so heavily on the Tesoro run Official Tesoro forum...
I figured too many people new me, so I decided to go to ground, set myself up as Mole and tried to start over.
It didn't feel right, so here I am ~ AGAIN... Snowy
Hey Mick, Did I tell you Miners Den Parramatta and Melbourne were bought by Bendigo Gold ?
Minelab/Codan decided to get out of the two retail stores...

Goodnight Buddy.  Hittin' the sack !

No I didn't know. Thanks for letting me know. I heard it said that Coden thought it was a percieved conflict of interest by having the shpos. I assume that the Adelaide shop must already be independant. It will be interesting to see if there is any shft in what is kept in shop. I know that in the Parramatta shop, Minelab was the main line kept. They do have a couple of Aces and a Compadre, but no other new detectors of other brands. The non Minelabs were overpriced.
Where is the official Tesoro website?
     Thanks.
     Mick Evans.

Mick the Adelaide shop was sold probably over a couple of years back, Coiltek S.A I believe own it now...
Queensland Miners Den has been private for a long time.
I heard that there'll be no more dredging gear in Miners Den Melb. So could be there might be some good buys in Keene pumps and dredges!

Here's a link for the old Tesoro forum, Iused to post heaps on that when I was full bore with the Cortes and started out with the Tejon.
I'm going to sell them both now, and get a Golden uMax aint I Meggie !!!
