just got my wife an ace 250 in time for a weekend up the coast, we spent spent 3 hours on the beach and this is what we came up with, took a while to get the hang of it, loves 5c and $2.

if anyone has any tips for us that would be great....i will be taking her out home where i grew up too as i have heaps of old spots up there for her to try, i really want her to get some penny's ect.

i really appreciate any help an will be sure to post any finds

    Off to a great start mr&mrs hoody! 
    It's a good idea to protect the control box especially at the beach...even a plastic bag is better than nothing.  Your coil is waterproof but your control box isn't, so never raise a wet coil higher than the control box or you risk water running down the stem.  Clean md after each outing especially after beach detecting to remove sand and saltwater.  Enjoy!
