Walking the Terra - Sat & Sunday
« on: September 04, 2010, 14:37 »
Gday,

Wild weather here last night but got up early and it was calm but overcast.
So I chanced the crap wet SA weather and took the "dog" for a walk.
Found a good spot and rain stayed away for 2.5 hrs but then had to don wet weather gear.
Xterra70 was still singing sweetly even with a plastic bag over its head.
Pulled out $64 odd in goldies, a silver & moonstone ring, US quarter, Vanauatu 2 Vatu coin and a modern UK 1 penny.
- must be a good day for the 60's Snoop  ;)
The "bull terrier" was still straining at the leash but things got wetter
So with the rain giving me the pips, I headed for home.
Today the Detectorpro Pistol Probe paid for itself by finding deep coins the Garrett couldnt get to.
happy swinging ...dry too I hope

nice job NSC... love them goldies  ;D

It's good to dig em up but nothing beats a pre-dec especially a silver pre-dec (and gold)! I hope the weather improves for you and the Victorians...

No rain up here - just lots of clouds so it is very humid.... and hot!

Nice day yesterday for the 60s indeed. But today is a different story for me - broke the $100 cap in one single trip for the first time ever!

    All the best

You're Amazing Croweater! NSW's got Werewolf we got you. Great effort mate. ( I'm not sure that I should be using the word 'effort' you seem to do it with ease.
I'm starting to wonder if you just throw your previous finds into a field and then go find them. LOL

Re the digger I made out of the ss tubing you gave me, it's great I love it, so easy to use, digs plugs lovely and neat, the only problem is is that there's nothing in them.  ;D

G2 found hers had a diameter that was too big for her hand, I thought she was used to that, had to reduce the handle to a size she felt comfortable with, looks small! But holding it puts a smile on her face. ::)
    She's a happy girl now!
