Found this brass mechanism. You can wind it up and down like a clamp. I am thinking maybe clipboard minis the board. The rivets are still there. What do you think?? Brian

    hmmmmmmmmmmm very tough but i agree with you, some sort of clip.

    Yes I would go along with that, even has a loop to hang it on a nail or hook
