thanks pepper, i will print your one out now.
just wish you did not mention half sov at 58. i was ready to say yippee i can discriminate out everthing below 60. i already discriminate everything below 45 and set iron to 36 and below, confused? i get 4 numbers of iron show up, garrett video suggested this as a iron nail will cause you to miss a coin if you set iron discrimination to 40, they said set to 36 and you still get the coin register on vdi.
i have noticed with beaver pull tabs, the more artistic the former owner of them has been the more different the target id, i find some wrapped up tightly in a ball, others molded into some form or another and it does move vdi number around.

Great list, though I notice some of my readings are slightly different.  Particularly the gold sov, I also used an 1871 and had a constant reading of 66-68 from the surface down to 100mm and 66-75 at 200mm.

I have also added pre and post 1946 3p as the silver contents differ affecting the reading.

found a threepence today, it came up at 61. it was a 1950 coin. i normally find them close to 80s i thought.
i put it back on ground to double check the target id, it was 61. mid tone audio on machine, normally they pop up on high tone audio. got me thinking i often not digging mid tones in the high trash relic area, just this one was a small pinpoint so i thought i better check it.

Aussie pre decimal silver coins up to 1946 had 92.5%silver content = high TDI numbers. After 1946 silver content was reduced to 50% together with 40% copper =  lower TDI numbers.

AT Gold is a bit the same, with say a florin in early 90s? cant remember id been a real long time since i dug one. But with the florin or thick silver the vdi is fixed/steady on the number, with rusty tin it can be steady on 99 but can also be jumpy from lows 80s to mid 90s, jumps like crazy, what i do then is scrap leaf litter, weeds, soil with my foot and wave again.
Usually rusty stuff is on the surface or first inch, needs the O2 to help rust.
Washers are coming up as a penny, but with AT Gold today (11 inch dd) i dug a washer from a watch? was tiny and down 10 inches came up as 82, i was expecting penny but still impressed by size/depth of the find.
With AT Gold its in All Metal mode, to the audio is way different to ACE or Pro, also when you have a doubt in all metal mode you can switch on iron audio, that does tell you right away if its rust or silver coin.
Did find once a florin with a penny and half penny, so that was reason the vdi was jumpy, since then i have done that iron audio trick to be double sure
