Off to Heathcote / Argyle tomorrow
« on: October 15, 2011, 21:21 »
Off on another adventure to another wonderful spot. This will be the first time I've had the gold bug pro dp on the fields. Hopefully I can follow in the footsteps of neddy and find the gold. We've got a hot tip on a good detecting / panning spot. So sluices packed & small cool on. I want my gold fix!

Well it was an interesting trip. The great thing is I learnt heaps about the gold bug. I'll finding small bullets, tiny nails & learning the signals & sounds in all metal. The ground grab feature made so much easier to ground balance. Hit plenty of hot rocks & learnt how to cancel them out. It was also interesting to watch the ground phase & the difference in ground conditions.
Great little detector & it's only a matter of time until I'm tuned into the gold.

Just in case you head back ;D

All the Purple area is Shallow AU-Gold ground. keep away from the digging work the hill slopes that we call virgin ground. Any of the black reef line's work the the slope that they slope down into.
