GTI 2500 TREASURE HOUND DEPTH MULTIPLIER 2 BOX COIL
« on: January 26, 2010, 16:07 »
Hi Mick fom Dubbo, Do you think this would would be a good setup for the deep stuff at the beach?, Have looked into it a bit, well the best the information can  provide. Certainly some serious stuff here. Am looking at a 12.5 coil for the deeper stuff, what do your's opinion?

Thanks
Leroy :)

     Hi Leroy.
The 2 box set up will be fantastic if you are trying to find a cache, but will not pick up small targets like coins. The 12 inch imagining coil will probably go the deepest, followed by the 14in DD coil.
Thanks for putting the link in for the detector dealership Steve. I'll keep it on my favourites site.
     Mick Evans.

Thanks Mick, yeah I was thinking more of the 12.5, first, but in a catalogue from Garrett they say the 2 box can find small targets, but it's in the fine print, but I'll keep researching it until Im satisfied whether to get it or not.
I'll go for the 12.5 though, that would be good in the meantime.
    Thanks again
    Leroy.
