How does gold come up on the GB Pro?
« on: January 09, 2012, 23:11 »
Hi just wondering if anyone out there has used a GB Pro with much success in the gold fields? I found i was getting a good deal of noise from the iron but easily recognisable with the iron readout. Wasn't sure though if i would get a bar and read out on the display or if when it hits a gold nugget it simply gives a tonal change? Ie is gold as a ring (assuming 24c) likely to give a readout different to gold in nugget form? Had a go in a gold area along a river over the NY break but without much/any success.
Cheers
Dax

A couple of links about gold bugs. I think the site will let you view without being a member. After you have read the posts go back to home page and have a look around.
