Youtube Goodness
« on: January 22, 2012, 15:10 »
As a newbie ive been hitting the net hard this week for metal detecting advice and knowledge and have come across some really interesting stuff. One of which is by a guy named Alan Hassell. From what ive read he is a bit of a legend i the game, but one of his videos i found very amusing and at the same time somewhat hypnotizing, making me want to get out of my chair and head for the metal detector zombie like. Im sure some of you have seen it.
In no way am i dissing on Alan, he knows his stuff and some of you here probably know him or no of him. Beside the fact that i dd learn some valuable stuff, I just found it awkwardly amusing.

cracker of a movie groundbangers. Loved it and it reminded me of my youth when we got to the beach on those rare occasions that the folks would load us into the car for the day when the summer heat was melting the tar on the road and everyone had just had enough of the heat.
I'm feeling a bit nostalgic.

Haha yeh. They either make tar differently these days or it was way hotter. In the heatwaves I remember your thongs would stick to the tar and you would have to hot foot it back to go get them. Those are great memories Mick.
