Hey Guys,

I was watching a couple of documentaries not so long ago about the Tassie Tiger and how there have been a few sightings around the back of SA and VIC.

The doc's showed some really convincing videos on sightings of the creature.

I was wondering (especially the prospectors in our forum) if they have seen one or there of..?

I am extremely keen on the Subject.

I have talked to a couple of prospectors who say they have seen strange things around Dunnolly about 15years ago. A circus elephant got away in the same area and nobody could find it. It came back by when it was ready. Be a bit of a suprise to look up and have a little beady eye looking down at you.

If anyone is sure they have sighted in in SA let me know, I have a thermal imager that I could use to try and track it down so better pics can be taken of it, I can also record video with the imager.

I have more videos I have not uploaded yet.

    Hi Ecto1
I know someone who thought he saw a tassie tiger crossing the road  (at night) near Coonalpyn in the SE of SA.   He manged to get some plaster casts of the foot prints the next day.  He sent them to the museum but they were not convinced but did not say definitely NO either.  This was back in the late nineties if that is of any use.
    Cheers

Jacko I'm originally from coonalpyn and heard the same story not sure if it's from the same person. There's tens of thousands of acres of scrub out behind coonalpyn, could be anything living there

Maybe an urban myth about the guy who reckons he seen a big cat and got poo from the area. He sent it to be tested and they said it was only dog poo. He then went to the Zoo and got a worker to give him some tiger poo, sent it away and they said ,still dog poo.   ;D

    Hi Quijbo,

The guy I knew may still be there in Coonalpyn.   With out giving too much away he was a nurseryman.   Ring any bells?

    Cheers

Jacko I left there 15+ yrs ago so that doesn't ring a bell. I'll be seeing an uncle who still lives there next week so I'll ask him about it. Be interesting if it was ever followed up by anyone

    Ecto,

I saw one 30 years ago in the north of South Australia. That doesn't make any sense. Well out of range. Know what I saw but I even doubt it now.
