Gday all,

Yesterday morning Madmax and i went detecting again, as usual for us on a Sunday.
I did a bit better in comparison to him this time...me $97.50 and Max $99.00
..only $1.50 seperated our tallies but I also scored another Florin 1956 (I didnt find one for a whole year then 2 in 2 weeks  )- go the Xterra.
Also 2 dope pipes which are a very common find for me for some reason.
The heat and tired bodies beat us in the end.

Max was good enough to clean my huge(lol) nugget in some special acid that he has and it came up really nice.
Thanks for that Mad one.
I re-panned the crushings and I also found another skerrick in my backgarden tailings dump from the dollypot.
Its just a tiny bit of sheet gold on ironstone, I spotted it.
It was probably not heavy enough to pan up as heavier than the rest, which is why it ended up in the dump the first time.
Happy hunting to everyone.

Fantastic totals fellas! Congrats on the 1956 florin NSC and the recovered speckle of gold!

....it's always a problem Madmax when you don't know where to find them....loos that is!

Public loos within 50 km of Adelaide! ;D
    http://www.poidb.com/destinations/view-poi.asp?locationid=7001

How did I know the info is out there?  I  knew an old fellow who suffered incontinence and his daughter said he never went anywhere without knowing where the closest public loo would be. She said he had probably visited most of the Adelaide loos at sometime.  Bound to be a penny or two around that were lost before spent! ;)

    Cheers

    Well done Chaps!
Good to hear the X-Terra's doing the job. As for the gold...... I gotta get out there. The bit your showing is enough to get me fired up. I'm doing a bit of research re gold in SA.  But too much reading gets me confused, I think I should just get out there and just get into it.
I did find a bit of gold today in the form of a heart shaped locket clasp. It's got 375  16 stamped on the back as well as 3 hallmarks.

    Watch out....I'm after ya! LOL
