Went back to the :golden beach" this afternoon for another look.A 3 hour hunt produced $6.14, 3 x threepence,1 1946 shilling and a 1947 florin. Also scored 2 nice old silver rings.Triumph,ah anyone remember the old Triumph bonnevilles, Steve McQueen (The Great Escape), Marlon Brando (The Wild One),James Dean (Rebel Without a Cause) now that was a motorbike. Thanks for looking. Meggie .....

years ago i had an old triumph trophy 500cc twin bought it with a blown motor so i striped it down in my lounge room fixed it up & it ran like a dream after that the only problem was as soon as i got it going my wife took it for a ride then claimed it she said it was to nice for the likes of me so i become the official pit crew. I've owned heaps of bikes over the years ranging from euro mopeds to big road bikes i love fixing them up. lazyaussie
