Once you have a serial number you can check with ML also the warranty card will be an interesting discussion, filling it in and posting to ML.

You are over half way to a ML Etrac I would consider saving a few more dollars and get the genuine article.  I you put in the time and effort you should recoup your dollars fairly quickly.

I remember a chap here in CQ a few years back had about $700 and put the difference on plactic and used the detector to pay off the debt, I think it took him about 11 mths but he did it.

shop well and you will get a e-trac for around a thousand

the more fruit and info it gives on a target COULD COULD mean a loss in depth a bit (any detector)

Could

Hi Guys,

Its all in the programing of the detector that brings home the bacon. The E-Track and the Whites v3i  are just awsome detectors. My advice is got to the top of the tree and get your self a secondhand E-track or a Whites v3i .

The trick is to be able to set the program up to give you the advantage  to get the goodies that are left behind and once you understand the combinations and get them right you will have an awsome detector that will not let you down.

:'( Their are things the v3i can do that the e-track cant do . And the same with the E-track.

Regards Beepn.  ;)
