A new v4 heres hoping
« on: February 08, 2015, 18:16 »
Hi Guys,
Well i hope this is true. A v3i upgrade to a v4 this was on another forum. The software added another 2 frequencies. Two frequencies and P.I mode.
I f its a hybrid detector it has a combination of induction balance and pulse induction technologies. So signals from targets are picked up by transmitted waves that has pulse current and induction balance. Wow bring it on just what i want for the beach..

Regards Beepn.

I had a person on facebook tell me a few weeks back that Whites were meant to have a new detector on the way, didn't get much info on it apart from it is meant to be better than an sdc2300 & maybe close to gpz7000 performance, price capped at around 4k. They were told when speaking to a person in Australia who has dealings with Whites & other accessories for Whites detectors. I spoke to that dealer today (not Goldsearch) but didn't think to ask about it, have to ring them later this week so might just mention about a rumor I had heard.
Not sure how true any of this is though & have heard nothing else about it so its just a rumour but if they do have something on the way that can perform as well as some of the other top detectors than thats gotta be good news. Time will tell I guess.

I heard the same stories.
From further checking Whites in the US indicated to me that there are no new detectors of those capabilities coming out in the near future. Although if you were to be developing a new detector, would you be telling everyone, or even the competitors. You would possibly want to develop, test and evaluate it across different countries and ground before even letting it hit the market. There would be nothing worse than your new machine not performing and giving your reputation a big hit backwards.
Personally I hope the rumors are correct, as Whites have not really brought out a new prospecting machine for some years now. For all the diehards out their please do not get me wrong. The machines on the market are still finding yellow and are still some of the best value for money machines on the market. I just feel that it might be time for a new machine from Whites to mix up the competition, especially when it come to prospecting for Gold.
