I see it mentions IP67 for the depth measurement. To save me looking it up and for the benefit  of the other members, how deep is that?

Only my opinion... The pic showing a lawn area with a bloody great hole in the grass, not quite the procedure I would have thought to promote a pinpointer retrieval technique.

But it's just my opinion...

PS might be a London bus...

IP ratings...: http://www.dsmt.com/resources/ip-rating-chart

pity it wasn’t IP68 else it might give the garrett carrot a run for its money..
and the size of that hole.... what the?

Not sure if I see any benefit in owning this pinpointer over the regular Makro pinpointer other than the orange colouring, both are IP67??
As mentioned above, if it were IP68, then it would make a more logical progression in pinpointer models.
The old Pro Pointer was IP66 and was never advertised as an underwater unit, only washable under running water (debatable due to having to cover the speaker holes), IP68 should be for continuous underwater immersion which would qualify more as an underwater unit.  Just a bit confused.

Hello all...a few clarifications:
The Nokta Pointer is actually a different unit with a broader user defined sensitivity adjustment, lost alarm and an auto shut off feature. The button combinations are also different. Based on customer feedbacks, a more visible color combination is also used.
The test conditions of the Nokta Pointer for IP67 rating was – 60 minutes at 1 meter depth.

When the device stayed underwater much longer than the testing time in actual use, it was still waterproof but we can only guarantee the IP67 standards since the testing states those certain conditions.
