We had one at camp a month ago. Nice and light. Hope they prove sturdy enough.
  • Detector(s) owned/used: Owned,Two Mlb 5000. Sovs,GT and XS, Ace 250's.
  • Oldest find: Ancient gold and 1797 cartwheel penny.

How was the depth Ivanll? Any good in the wet sand? Get any sand in the telescopic shaft and could that be a problem?..Thinking about getting one to have at hand on bushwalks etc..cheers..Dave

Had the coil on the Go-Find 40 I used over detectable coins and bottle caps at 8".
It was usable on wet sand and in shallow water by switching off first icon and lowering the sensitivity by 1 bar.
I guess sand could be a problem depending on how the detector is used, I usually do not lay my detectors in the sand unless it is to take a picture so I have no issues in that respect.
