Another option is Detech's 8" DD for the GPX/GP/SD series.

Why bother with a small DD on a gold machine? It will have a little bit of discrimination with the small DD but not very good sensitivity for small gold.

Why, mainly because the manufacturer of this prototype ground balancing  gold PI machine that I'm testing in Aussie gold fields, tells me that an 8 inch DD will detect down to .1-.2 gram nuggets on this machine and I'm trying to test it.

I wonder how deep would a DD coil find a point1 with the new machine.   An 11" DD on a 5000 wouldn't have much depth in the GT on small targets.

I sell the 8" DD detech. This is the most sensitive option for SD and GP users in hot ground and will go deeper than the 10x5" elliptical DD's.
