Makro Pinpointer update
« on: October 27, 2016, 00:37 »
Well Makro sent me a new Makro pinpointer to replace my faulty unit - and I didn't even need to send in the old one, just a video of the fault. I was ridiculed on this forum for suggesting that Makro could do this, but I'm glad to say they aren't like other detecting companies where shoddy service and ludicrous wait times have become an accepted part of the hobby. Thank you Makro I'll definitely buy products from you again.

You had a product that developed a fault and it was suggested you send it back to the place you bought it and ask for it to be repaired or replaced. How is that ridiculing you?
Well done though your tactic of throwing a public tantrum instead worked and now you have 2 pinpointers.

I dont have two pinpointers mate. I have a faulty original pinpointer and a replacement that came on its own, without  so much as a battery. As for throwing a public tantrum. I was polite in what I asked and the way I asked it. Makro have clearly found a better way to operate and for that I commend them. But go ahead and have the last word your type seems to need that.
