TV show The Detectorists
« on: February 10, 2017, 08:27 »
I was on a flight on Qantas yesterday and on the in flight entertainment they had a TV show from the UK called the Detectorists. A comedy about a couple of metal detecting mates and the Detecting club  (7 Members). I watched the entire first season  in one sitting. Not bad, some quite funny bits. One of the lead characters owned a CTX so it must be a good show.

Its a classic, now you have to watch Season 2.  Some very subtle detectorist jokes in there, like paying for the beer with a pocked full of change and grass...

A lot of us have seen the different series and thought it funny. One of our members writes for the UK "The Searcher" magazine. He did a good interview with MC. I hope he does a third series. I watched series 2 non stop.

One has a Deus and the other a CTX.   I like the way they date pull tabs.

I will have to check this out, haven't seen it before...

I have however seen a show on netflix called "diggers"...................   Those two blokes and the moron that gave them a tv show in the first place need a public flogging. what a pair of nobheads.
