GOLD MONSTER 1000
« on: February 10, 2017, 13:32 »
I just received a message.
Minelab are releasing a new detector, the GOLD MONSTER 1000. Looks to be a VLF Machine.
But as usual, or should I say in typical Minelab style the distributors do not know when the release will occur or the price.  There is a promotional video out, which will stem some interest.
I would like to see how it goes or even get one to trial, as Minelab claim it turns beginners into experts. (I guess they forgot to include that you need to be in the right location and in gold country as well, LOL).

Just cleaned it up a bit :)

I see the usual remarks about a VLF and gold. I will be showing a picture tomorrow of one of the Bpc members recent gold finds with a 705. Minelab today were still not saying a price for the Eureka replacement. The two coils will add to the price though.

It is another bloody Gold machine . It runs on 45 khts , saw it on a thread or site on the net yesterday .
No good for me anyway . Again :(
Maybe they can make one for the beaches called the Sea Monster :D at 8 khts .
Minelab doesn't care about us relic and coin hunters anymore , all they want to do is look after the Gold nugget hunters and the shareholders . Shareholders are always a way to ruin a good company .

Looks like a marketing grab to get the people, who have no clue and want to find nuggets, type.  Because it's only $1000 then more will be able to buy that than spending several $1000's. Every company/dealer has an agenda to make money as its just business sense.  Just my opinion but I am known as a cynical bastard.

I wonder how many have been pre-booked or sold.
If they are as good as the advertising is suggesting, they may be good for the technically challenged.
I just wonder how they would preform against the New HF Deus setup and the well know Whites GMT which has been running high frequency for quite some time.
If anyone does get one, I would love to hear feedback on it.
