Can You ID This Roman Coin?
« on: May 07, 2018, 09:06 »

You've just unearthed a Roman coin and you're ecstatic. You don't know exactly what it is but soon find out that your ‘little cracker’ is called a denarius. Shown on the obverse is Nero, but who is that on the reverse and how much do you know about Nero?

Wasn’t Nero that fish that went missing and they made a movie about finding him. :)

Some here have gone overseas detecting but most of us will never get a chance to find a Roman coin.

I think Ray is right there , not many of us will ever get the chance to find a roman coin , but wouldn't it be a cracker of a find :) Gazza

In the UK we are never going to find gold in its natural state either!
