Aluminium tube
« on: May 24, 2018, 17:22 »
Found this in an area that has had some military activity. It is 23cm long and about 37mm in diameter. Looks like the remains of an internal membrane just past the 3 slots at the start of the longer toobey bit. That  may have been blown or burnt out.Slightly raised ridge running round the outside where that membrane would have been positioned. Part of a flare?..That is a lot of blather about something that may turn out to be part of a vacuum cleaner...but that's why we enjoy coming to this hobby shed I reckon..nothing wrong with a bit of blather..cheers..Dave

Some vac extensions did have slots so you could decrease the suction when doing curtains.
I don’t know what your tube is though.
