This is a bit like beach hunting with plenty of space at low tide you don't know where to start, so it's about searching as much ground as possible to find the missed patches.

With the ATX and its unusual DD coil that will detect specimens, small and larger nuggets without mode changes and with this new shaft setup to lessen the weight, it's easier to work longer without torturing oneself in this dry inland heat......... it's about working smarter.

Forgot the skid plate on this trip. >:(

A large gold producing property, an ATX chest mounted with a small light weight Infinium LS DD coil and a fully charged (LIP) rechargeable battery pack.

Nice weather, good company that don't need holding hand and info on what settings to used not even at the camp fire, so more time to sit back and relax a sore body after the days outing and enjoy a cold ale.

Nice gold Ivan, what depth was the deepest one at roughly.

Within a few of inches of the ground surface, it was a matter of getting the coil down between obstacles and under fallen branches.
