Thanks for the heads up.

It says that other Tesoro models are covered and it's a useful book for them too. To how much an extent is that true?

I don't really want to read about models I don't own. :)

The book is around 80-90% related to Tejon/Vaquero , may well even be more . Hope this helps .

I bought the book from Amazon. Read the book over a couple of days. I wrote a review on Amazon under the name "Mackduff".

One of the ground balancing techniques the author suggests, relates to the Vaquero frequency switch. The author suggests switching between the different frequencies affects the ground balance. Now I'm sure I've seen this suggested on a U tube video.
Anyway, if one balanced at the 14.5 hz frequency, the author suggests switching to 14.3 hz, would give a slightly negative balance, switching to 14.7 hz, a slightly positive balance.

So off I trot into the back yard to give it a try on my Vaquero. Balanced at 14.5 hz, and switched to 14.3 hz, then to 14.7 hz, both which seemed positive ??  :o

Now, i need to ask, has anyone else tried this, and if so, what results did you get ??

Hi rise and shine....my vaquero does exactly the same as yours...I even tried balancing in 14.3 and 14.7 then switching back to 14.5...on my vaquero the variation is consistent...that is..., when I balance in one, the other 2 frequencies are out of balance with the original tuning...ozman

Thanks for the feedback Ozman, it would be interesting to see if any others get the same result.
