GMC is a forum member, all they have to do is look in and participate if they have a service they want to share.
Garret detectors are not gathering dust at my place, my son is using the GTA 1000......did a small mod on the Sea Hunter XL500 PI.......had the ATX on a beach outing Thursday last......CSI-Pro went out on loan for a few days......5 year old Pro Pointer is still working and come along on every hunt.

Well that is two of us Ivanll.
My Infinium is still good although my Sand Shark and Gold Bug (Digital screen) are proving to be successful  at the beach. The Gold Bug disc mode is of no use over the salt sand but the All metal Mode and the Ground Grab works fine all the way to the water line after which the Ground grab/Balance range tops out.

I called GMC SA yesterday morning as I had a problem with my pro pointer.
When switched on it sounded like a radiation detector going off.
I then went over in the afternoon and had the problem fixed on the spot.

PS I hope this is in right place

I don't know what a radiation detector sounds like but the pinpointer will sound like a siren if the battery voltage is low.
