my experiment with a magnet on the atx
« on: August 02, 2014, 19:41 »
Grabbed one of those whodar thingos that goes on electrical cable to stop interference .
Inside test with atx got a extra two inches air testing with a gold Ring .
I did a emi scan sensitivity on 9 threshold on max with  headset connected in non motion .
placed it on the shaft at different spots  nothing.
Placed it on the body and it quietened it down  a little took it away and it got noisy . mmm so I grabbed a ring did some testing .
At 14" no magnet no response at 12" no magnet got a hit  . added magnet got a hit at 14" .
So has it added depth or quietened  the interference down.  I'll say interference for now as it was done inside.
