Gun Rack for carrying detectors in a ute?
« on: October 20, 2014, 21:00 »
Space is becoming an issue in my ute. I was thinking today where I could mount my detectors to keep them out of the way, and away from damage.
Has anyone mounted a gun rack in a ute before to carry their detecting equipment? I reckon it wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Keeping them out of site is the main trouble with gun racks. I use them at home but in the bush i have a fridge laying down i can lock.

When my ute was going , we kept our tectas suspended behind the front seat , from ocky straps hooked on the headrest rods , just tipped the seat backrest forward and undid the ocky strap .
