Cable Length
« on: January 25, 2015, 19:47 »
Hi All,
Various coils for the Tesoro range come with 3 ft or 8 ft cable, would  anybody know if the cable length effects the coil. (ie. can a cable be cut down without detrimental effects to the output of the coil)
Cheers!

The longer cable probably allows for a hip mount setup, you would think the shorter the cable, the more efficient the detector would be with less resistance.

Makes no difference the 8 ft is for hip or chest mount and seeing the signal is travelling at the speed of light 5 more feet wont matter, and the resistance is minimal
