I think the add looks suspicious, not Garretts standard font, hinge joint rather than their telescopic shaft, plus the cuff, handgrip and control box don't scream Garrett!

Looks like a beat up. The photo is actually a link to a site called Treasure  Classifieds Forum.

Be interresting though if it was kosher.

After having a closer look at the ad it looks like a setup. The fonts on the Garrett logo on the screens  and the actual ad are not normal Garrett typeface  the coil cord going to the coil .
