3.5mm plug onto MINELAB headphones
« on: January 31, 2016, 13:19 »
Hello All,
Im trying to put a 3.5mm plug onto some Minelab headphones, there are 4 wires on the Minelab headphones and 3 wires on the 3.5mm plug, I've tried a couple of different combinations with no success, headphones were working (not the loudest).
Any tips would be appreciated.
Cheers in advance

Hello Projeanant,
I found this article some days ago researching information on using an old Garrett Sea Hunter Water proof head phones on the CTX3030. I hope this helps you has wiring diagrams for 3 wire connection. Check out the article from the Minelab Knowledge Based Article :- CTX3030 Audio Options

I wonder do you have an earth/ shield wire, then a common for both speakers plus a wire to each speaker. Can you see the colours that go to the speakers and do you have a multi meter?
