well that's a start!!!!

quote from goldhunterdetectors on 25th April says.....
"Yes, we are the distributors for Tesoro....We have had issues with getting out I.T. person to update our website.....We are getting that fixed this week".....

3 weeks later still no advertising / sales / marketing in Australia..Tesoro appears to be slipping into an Australian abyss

sent an email to the supposed Australian Tesoro distributors requesting info on a replacement arm rest for a Cibola (a standard Tesoro arm rest)...didn't hear back from them...purchase made via the UK....Tesoro in Australia is looking a little like Brexit...... no-one really knows what will happen next!..Tesoro may well survive,...but one is left to wonder if it will ever be a part of the Australian detecting community again...it seems more and more less likely!

At least the price has dropped a little lately ( UK£) but freight is a factor.

I do worry about Tesoro, they really have dropped the ball and not just in Oz. They still haven't solved the manufacturing problems with the 4 pin Cleansweep coils after almost 5 years. Unbelievable.
Great machines, but I fear the lack of investment into new technology and ideas will see them slip further and further behind the pack.

It would be interesting to hear what our fellow comrades in the USA  think of the Tesoro story? Do they have frustrations?
I'm happy with my little Cibola, just got to work out where Ohb1 and Ringa haven't been to!????

i still love mine but the Cazador has become a bit of a joke i emailed them a while ago and they said it was still a way off
i think after the crap that went down with their last dealer they may be cautious coming full on in australia
