Most Victorian prospectors would know Neville perry from Bet Bet.
The story tells of trouble he has had removing trees from a lease.

Sounds typical of some of the officials we meet out in the bush.

So this block is covered in undergrowth, sounds like a bush fire hazard next summer.

Sounds like you could use their own silly rules against them. Can't touch the trees, but you can't create a bushfire hazzard either!
