Who the Heck uses a shipping hammer to dig a target , you would just use your hands to dig in that crap . looks more like a planted nugget and someone that knew what shape etc it was. Any real hunter would have used the coil to do the work and not hope that there may be a nugget there or not
Thats my take

All over FB and 101 comments as to what is wrong with this video etc.

And he is always finding good sized nuggets and he is in WA ?

Utube is full of this sort of thing...

And if you look at the  thousands and thousands of $ he finds :-)

Love this one... Magnet fishing... And even gets 20c and then a full cash box of min coins ?

I'm calling his vids suspect, disturbed ground before he digs and all his nuggets look like they are from the exact same source be they found in WA or Vic? He finds a purse with money but not too much and a treasure chest......
The ACE 250 and that coil will detect gold but you have to be right on top of it..... I run an ACE 350 with a DD coil I have to set  my discrimination to custom and pinpoint with the machine, garh 1958 seems to run his machine in all metal and never pinpoints....
Lastly, panning for gold on a muddy river bank, but doesn't show pans or spade, not on a bend or near rocks to trap the gold? Exactly the opposite to everything I've been told by the mentors in our little society of gold hunters.....
I'm with AM on this just another clown looking for a TV contract!

Knew what he was looking for...  Could have thrown away the target three or four times.  Numby...

Don't watch any of his of vids...  They make you cringe if you have even the faintest idea; but some obviously have no idea of the wool he is pulling over people eyes - re the positive comments.

But typical of much on the net today...

The bits that he was picking up and throwing away while looking for the target, were all a very similar size to the target he finally picked up.
Got me buggered how he knew from the way it was beeping that he should be looking for something that size.

I agree with thylacine, but as i are new to this game, i must be miss reading all the tips and tricks posted by forum members who have been in this game for a long time, should i whip into bunnings, grab a brickies hammer, duck down to that straight stretch of river that has no structure at all and start digging,i don't think so. videos of this nature should not be allowed to be posted.

He is just a clown......

If you have a look at his videos......he doesn't look like he even knows how to use a detector properly.....

He is just a comedian.......
