This Thing has the potential to be a massive hit if it goes into production.
Should have crowd funded it and they would be on the market by now I reckon.
Well worth keeping upto date with.

Don't know if any of you have been following the QED on , Australian electronic gold prospecting forum .com .  Looks like it's a real goer , very light , very deep and will find both big gold and gold smaller than an SDC will find . First units are now out there finding the yellow .

Initial tests look promising but the manual ground balance is not great. Really needs another 6 months of side by side comparisons

I was following the QED thread on another forum but the whole thread has disappeared, it was a  general interest topic for me, I hope it goes well for the manufacturer as it appears to be a fair dinkum Aussie product which will give many people an alternative and an opportunity to enter the hobby at a more affordable level and yes I was lurking.......cheers Colin.

Still going on the site i mentioned above Colin , some gold pics starting to show now . Last reply was on there this morning , greatest handicap is being handmade . There is a big back order waiting list , i am thinking this machine could be handy for me here in Tassie , seems it's very capable on small gold ........ yep i'm lurkin too .

The queue to get one is long I made enquiry at the dealer.
It's good to see someone can develop something useful that do not get eliminated by winding up in litigation.

It wasnt through lack of trying though, this thing was years in the making and would have been released much sooner if not for the giant corporate.
