I heard it was discovered by Johns school friend who recently found an old sword.
  • Detector(s) owned/used: Owned,Two Mlb 5000. Sovs,GT and XS, Ace 250's.
  • Oldest find: Ancient gold and 1797 cartwheel penny.

As usual the duck gets neglected, if they only new how important the duck was in the Bronze Age and how many lives were saved by just the use of the word
Many a warrior was saved from a spear in battle, with just the mention of his name, not to mention being hit in the head by a sword or arrow

Not to forget how many would have died without ROAST DUCK and also we have DUCK DOWN in our bed covers to keep us warm on the goldfields in winter  :-* Ohhhh the Duck story continues to enlighten the history of the world and will for many future generations  ;D  Lex
