New ATX Coils. on: May 20, 2017, 10:24
For the asking price of these coils I would have expected a coil cover/skidplate to be included . . .  . well there is not ! ! !

In order to protect this investment one was made before use.

Also the weight was of concern so a new shaft was made that make it usable with the equally heavy control housing chest mounted.

All is now quite manageable and definitely better than a troublesome arm/shoulder/back. :D

The local joint reckons they will lend me one for the next trip to compare against the 14" elite. My videos won't be biased at all, hope ol mate lets me back in the shop after I post them lol.

Ivan. This looks good. Where did you get the extendable shafts from? Thanks Steve.

Complete shaft made for another detector (no longer in use) years ago.

Used upper shaft and a new bottom shaft made to fit new ATX coil tube.
