Headlight with a Difference.
« on: May 29, 2017, 17:48 »
Somebody last year was looking for a Headlight with a sensor, (Defenderzook/), anyway I came across this one about 6 months ago, I've had it for about 6 months now and I'm happy to say it's a ripper, rechargeable lithium iron battery, light as a feather and gives a good spread of light over 3 modes with or without the one click diffuser, the main switch is on the battery pack with an LED state of charge display, it is almost impossible to accidentally turn it on bumping around in the back pack, once turned on you just wave your hand to turn it on or off, from a Detecting point of view it just makes those night hunts a little easier. Hyperlinks are not working for me today so here are the details....LED Torch Shop Geelong, Olight H15S LED Headlamp with IR sensor.

e-bay link works fine.
Looks like a great idea, my Led Lenser needs replacing and this is now top of the list.
Dose not do the strobe light thing I hope, That gets on my nerves a bit nowadays.
Sorry for the gobbledygook above, should use the Snipping tool instead of just copy & paste.

I have one of the older ones and it is great. The hands free is really good. Don't attract attention at night when you are just swinging.

Have had mine for 4 months now and couldn't be happier.
Comes with a rechargeable battery and charger, you can drop in 4 AAA batteries if you forget to recharge.
