The pain of it all
« on: July 29, 2017, 09:58 »
I've been swinging my 705 regularly over the last 3 years however my shoulder has slowly degrade over this time ( rotator cup syndrome) apparently... I only can spent a short period of time before the pain sets in. I've been managing this with drugs in the past( prescription 1's)😉. I've tried harnesses and they didn't help much as they transferred the weight to the shoulder.. Until Somebody lent me a minelab pro swing 45, WoW. All the weight was put onto the hip not the that the 705 is heavy but it's amazing what differences it made to my shoulder. So off to miners den I go to by myself pro swing harness and about $2650 later I walk out the door with my new harness😲. O'yes with a 3030 attached to the bungee cord😉. So not only do I have a pain in the shoulder I have a pain in the wallet as well. I'm guessing I'm going to have lots of questions about the 3030 in days to come... moral of the story, don't do drugs, buy a harness....😆
Thanks
Noel

Not so sure about the pain in the hip pocket going away soonly.....I'm not overly fussed about what I hear about the 3030 but each to their own.

As for the shoulder pain....I know that you've got a harness now but I've seen a physio and gotten some exercises as I intend to detect long term and I recommend to anyone suffering any shoulder pain who also intends to detect till they kark it to see a physio too.....just saying.

KG you will still detect if your arms fall off, they have already paddled over 1 million kms so you're now officially out of warranty  ::)

Today's the day I take the 3030 for it first run on Bribie... and I believe the Hip Pocket pain will go away for a little while anyway, until I head into another toy shop don't tell me wife....😆

All good, I probably could have bought two 3030's by now with the money I spent on doctors, specialist, physio and remedial massage etc... well I'm not impressed with a user manual on the 3030,but I'm sure the machine will work better than than i do 😁
