Local bee keepers here are having trouble with people pinching hives, sometimes 60 box's at a time.
This might be a handy book.

What do people do with 60 hives worth of bees? Surely someone somewhere would notice.

I keep native Bee's and there are a few out there that are happy to pinch them as well.

A shame, but many theses days seem to think that if they can take it; then it is theirs to take and then sell.

I asked why they didn't hide a tracker but it seems the thieves just change the contents into their own boxs. They also sometime just steal the queen.
