I just don't get why it's a thing. My holes are never usually big enough to need to discriminate in them.

I do trashy places and not un comon to have a a few targets in a small area and when I get 2 or 3 in an inch...  To have the pinpointer take out the iron :-) 

Like many things, it could have its uses...    Play area's where I want to use the pin pointer close and around metal play equipment :-)

I gave up after digging one very deep hole in the goldfields last week for a 3d.
There were another 3 targets in the hole which i would have liked to have know if they were iron before digging them.
  • Detector(s) owned/used: Owned,Two Mlb 5000. Sovs,GT and XS, Ace 250's.
  • Oldest find: Ancient gold and 1797 cartwheel penny.
