Reading in a local newspaper  and reported by the world wide maritime organisations that over 1500 shipping containers are lost at sea each year.

I can only hope they are full of gold coins and that the containers break open on their way to the bottom.🤗

All you need is a couple of hundred meters of wire rope, a dirty big magnet and a decent boat.  Not to mention a heap of cash.  The mind boggles.  Hey, KG, you busy?

...1992...29,000 plastic yellow ducks, red beavers, blue turtles and green frogs were washed into the ocean

...No mention of containers of coins Notalot...but by all means, keep your eyes peeled when detecting the "local" beaches...the duck (so I've heard ) might present a formidable challenge  ....sounds like  there are a few of his  kind just "floating around" out there!

Remember a few years ago when the cargo ship lost a &*^(^ load of  containers in the English channel ~ 

Most floated ashore onto the English coast, and  folks went absolutely Ape &*(*  ~ even  grabbing brand new BMW motorcycles ~ 

I recall there was a lot of controversy  over legal  claims to  lost cargo but overall if I recall they were legally entitled to take what they could carry !
