I have had a dealer in the states do a test for me on a fine gold chain with the nox, The Deus, & the gold monster and the nox blows them away. It definetly is the ants pants on fine gold chains. Just what i have been looking for.

Beeepppnnn.

I see a comment on an Equinox page where a bloke said he asked a Minelab repairman if they could be repaired. He said when not UW dump it. Go finds are dump material when broken but i would hate to thing the new rig is like that.

Surely it is a bit too soon for a conclusion like that?

The comment was on one of the official test pages. They named the Minelab service man and nobody said different. I wonder how much the top section will cost if no replacement parts are offered? It wouldn’t stop me buying one if i was an active Relic hunter.
I will have to have a talk to Mark about the Gold side of the machine.

As far as gold goes it's hard to go past JP's gold finds right here in Aust. while testing the Nox . His commentary is pretty complimentary also .

I should have put the comment in the normal section as it has nothing to do with this video
section. The group has been changed to public so you should be able to see the comments by two different people. One said he was able to open a sealed pod but i guess if they dont provide circuit boards it will be a difficult repair.

ta, that was a very good test video. Ground not overly dry or overly wet - just right  :)
And he used default programs, which is how 99% of people hunt I recon :)

A test by a famous Minelab tester/developer from Scotland. The new 6” coil gets a mention.

Not a bad air test with modern new nails. Wonder how it would have went about 5-6 inches in the ground  in all the real large rusty crap/tin we experience with old home sites.
