I like Ed from texas so i get spare coils from him and i love Shavon and Dan (the boss) at Kellyco they bending over backwards to get my business, so i getting detectors at bargain prices from Kellyco.
Nothing however beats youtube and being able to test machines or coils for yourself.

I may be alone on this but on the Texas Premium comparison chart, there's two size dots and two sizes of the dash. What's the difference between the two different dot and dash sizes? Or am I missing something obvious? ::)

It either means my MD is highly recommended for coins or really crap on coins. hopefully the former.

Those big and little decimal points on the texas page have me guessing as well
I love my ACE 350, its never leaving my stable of detectors, A great coin machine, light as a feather goes all day without a hassle in moderate to high mineral soil. I only replaced it as i wanted a target ID so that is why i got AT Pro and only got the AT Gold for its goldfields detect powers. One thing i question on those charts is the ACE 350 gold detect power, it can find a nugget on surface at least and has more khz i believe than the gold snoop has.

Hi Everyone,

I am a newbie and trying to decide whether to get a Garret 250 or Garret 350. Will mainly be looking for coins but hoping to get some prospecting in as well but have a limited budget. Would there be much difference between the two? Would a 350 help in finding nuggets?

Cheers

I purchased a little 250 recently with the thought that it might show some gold in quartz at a minesite. I took it with me and found that it wouldn't detect fine gold at all. I knew it was asking a bit much but thought i would try it. Not many nuggets laying on top the ground and they lose depth with mineralisation.
