So what is it doing electronically when he leaves it over the wet sand for 1 to 5 minutes?

I dont know...I actually havent had to much of a problem with it falsing. As I have said a little bit of falsing over heaped up seagrass....and as he says when you first touch the water on the way in or as you leave on the way out though this was only with the small coil. The larger one was ok unless I was using it in 6 inch high surf where it would yelp when a wave hit it. Black sand is very close to the surface at the beach I am thinking of so it has plenty of opportunity to give it grief. Anyway that is my vast experience of about 6 weeks or so....but like to record what I am thinking of at the time and expecially if I can confirm or deny some of the posts like the one that started this thread.
