DD Coil for BH 4
« on: August 14, 2012, 23:11 »
I have just read on an older website that a Fisher F4 11" DD coil will work on BH detectors does anybody know if this is right an would there be any advantage in buying one as I have an open 8" coil on my BH 4.

Thanks Alimo88,
I already have an AT Pro just got the BH as a back up so when I head out west soon I will not miss out on anything if the AT Pro plays up.I intend to dig everything as it will all be old stuff on the sites I am going so just thought I might get a bit more out of the BH with a DD coil.

I have an AT Pro international with 8.5x11" Proformance coil and also got the 4" sniper coil,I thought I would see if it was worth changing the coil on the BH4 to give it a better search advantage as I will probably give it to my brother and invest in a more upmarket machine as a backup, have looked at the Fisher F2 they seem to get a good review.
