Hey guys I found a nice little run of 23 bits for 34 grams my best find.then I did something stupid I showed a piece to a couple that we've seen around . told them we where coming back tomorrow to have another go.came back the next day the hole place has been scraped and their detecting on it .#@#%#@.any way fast forward 2 years and theirs a break in at a panel beaters shop here in Darwin and they lose their detectors and gold same people .Now that's kamara sorry no photos

3.8gr found early 2016, expect a bigger one pretty soon.

Well I can update this, 105 grams in one hole, found in April 2017

It was folded up in a little square when I found it, I had to unroll it, I guess it travelled down the hill a little way to fold up as it did

Not much weight for such a large nugget, it must be fairly flat. A good find and better than most that appear nowdays.

On the 26/2/2010, I took my E-Track to the top of a hill on the farm. I turned it on & tried to ground balance it. The detector kept beeping & I was getting rather frustrated until I removed the 50.3 gram, limestone encased nugget from under the coil.
I owned it for about 2 minutes - that's how long it took the wife to walk to the top of the hill in 42 degree heat.
I'd love to be able to do that again but any detector on the market would have found this one.

Looking through a cupboard she came across 3 bits in a container, her long dead dad had found at Eaglehawk.

My one and only piece is responsible for getting me into this hobby. Was found at Daylesford  with a 4500 that I hired and is so big it is dwarfed by a match head  ;D
