Minelab Service +1
« on: May 21, 2015, 09:41 »
Hi all, just thought I'd put this out there.
A couple of weeks ago the little rubber flap that covers the mini USB charger for the CTX wireless module broke on me.  It still works, but the bit that attaches it to the unit had torn, so easily able to be lost whilst charging.
I had sent Minelab an email simply to ask if these were available and easily replaceable as I used the unit quite regularly and didn't want to part with it via the abyss that is sometimes Australia Post.  I  didn't end up getting an email reply from them, instead in the mail box today I received the actual replacement part. Just a simple case of a couple of screws, lifting the case to the module on that side and slotting it in.....done.
Happy with the solution and saves postage on both parties for what is effectively a part worth maybe $1.
