Well, it's taken me 13 years to wear mine out, but that's after finding thousands of coins. All I ever did was dig what the meter said was ok - anything above mid range.

  • Detector(s) owned/used: Began with a Goldsnoop, Bounty Hunter Sharp Shooter II, Garrett A2B Groundhog. Tried a Excal, now using XS2-pro Sovereign and a XT1700
  • Oldest find: A english military button from about 1885
If it's shiny or moves I'll notice it even if it's a well camouflaged critter.

What range did u find rings

Never found gold of any description (unlike my old Tandy machine which gave me several rings). That's because I only dug ring pull level signals where I could do it without damaging the turf, which meant hardly ever.
As for silver rings, I guess I found dozens. They are up in the predecimal zone.

Hi again well another question what did u find with your bounty hunter quick draw2 like can u say it will find rings and good stuff .?? And what tones are usaly rings. Low or high pitch tones thanks again ???

Same as with the Sharp shooter 2, gold will show up as low as the 5 and 10c pieces on the ID meter all the way up to silver and $1 and $2 coins, the smaller 9ct stuff will be on the lower end, the higher carat stuff towards the silver end.
