Still hard going even with the 2300.
« on: November 24, 2017, 16:23 »
Went over to Woodvale with the BPC club last outing and had to work pretty hard for the 17 little bits that I got .
Found a rock with a very quiet signal and I guessed maybe a point 2 would cover it but on dolling it up at home found that it yielded a good bit better than that - seems like the machine picks out the best bit but it,s maths are not too good as it cannot add up too good.
Anyway found myself picking out rocks and logs in the shade and taking a number of rests - cannot take that heat too well now.

Cheers - Barney.

Good work Barney

The pinpointer signalled on only one part of the rock. Most of the little bits must have been behind the obvious section. 5 found gold on Sunday but i haven’t seen Saturdays results yet.
